The Birth: an international collaboration
In the year 2016, The Smart Internet Systems Corporation (founded in 2009), with partners from France, Costa Rica and the United States, decided to create a vehicles marketplace for Costa Rica. From the start, the main objective has been to present our users with the most useful information, in a free and transparent way.

In 2017, the first ads for used cars were published. In the year 2018, we added the motorcycles category. A year later, in 2019, the first ads for used ATVs / Quads got created.

Since the beginning, the Auto Moto Costa Rica team made the choice to work with the most modern technologies. All our services are hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud and our website is 100% responsive (adapted for all devices such as mobiles phones, tablets and desktops), in order to offer the best and fastest service to our users. Our digital platform is 100% accessible by web browsers: no need to install any application on your device. The agreement of level of service we have with Microsoft, guarantee us a minimum disponibility of 99,9%.
